  3. LaunchPad is a simple utility for System 7
  4. drop-launching (drag-and-drop).

  6. It is the simplest solution that I could find for
  7. "Clean-Desktop-types" who want to have easy
  8. drag-and-drop access to several applications, but
  9. hate to clutter their desktops with all those
  10. icons.  With LaunchPad, you place only the (small)
  11. LaunchPad icon on your Desktop.  You may then drag
  12. documents onto the LaunchPad icon, whenever you
  13. want to drop-launch a document.  LaunchPad will
  14. provide a standard "get file" dialog allowing you
  15. to select a target application from a list of
  16. applications that you customize.
